The role of the social experience in the creation and the development of the sociolects

The article examines the influence which social environment and social experience have always had upon the creation, development, disappearance or reappearance of certain social dialects, such as corporative slang, professional jargons or criminal argot. Processes and linguistic exchanges are examined within one specific sociolect and between several sociolects of different origin and affiliation. Interactions with the standard language and regional dialects are also analysed. Special attention is paid to the transformation of some social dialects after the fall of the communist regime in Bulgaria.
